BETALEN AI is the rebranded identity of Betalen Technology, run and operated by Betalen Technology India Pvt Ltd in Hyderabad, India. Our journey began in January 2021 with research AI labs focused on data science and analytics. In March 2021, Betalen Technology acquired Hyderabad-based Regis IT Software Solutions, an application development and production support company. Today, we bring enterprise software engineering, ongoing client support and AI-powered data solutions together, with more than 200 solutions delivered worldwide.
Our story
Betalen Technology began its research AI lab journey in January 2021, with a focus on data science, analytics and practical enterprise solutions. Based in Hyderabad's Hi-Tech City, our work connects dependable software engineering with the clean, structured data that AI models need.
In March 2021, Betalen Technology acquired Regis IT Software Solutions, a Hyderabad-based application development and production support company. This acquisition brought an application engineering and support foundation into our broader technology offering, connecting the development of business applications with the responsibility of keeping them reliable in production.
Betalen Technology has since rebranded as BETALEN AI to reflect our expanded focus on artificial intelligence, GenAI, data engineering and intelligent enterprise applications. The operating company remains Betalen Technology India Pvt Ltd. Our identity has evolved, while application development and client support remain central to our work.
Today, our focus is AI-based data training: we source, label, validate and deliver the training datasets behind computer vision, NLP, speech and document-understanding models. Alongside that, our portfolio spans managed data pipelines, AI agents, analytics platforms and enterprise application modernisation. From Hyderabad, we support clients across India and international markets, bringing software delivery, data quality and ongoing operational support into one engagement.

Building on Regis IT's application development and production support roots, BETALEN AI supports the full lifecycle of enterprise software.
Custom web applications, enterprise portals, APIs and integrations for ERP, CRM and SaaS workflows. Our approach connects requirements, architecture, implementation, testing and release planning with the client's business priorities.
Application monitoring, incident triage, defect resolution, root-cause analysis and maintenance. Support coverage, escalation paths and response targets are agreed for each engagement, with attention to business-critical workflows.
Legacy application upgrades, cloud migration and database transitions across SQL Server, Oracle and PostgreSQL, alongside AI and LLM integrations. We plan validation and cutover around the continuity needs of each client.
For clients with existing applications, our support approach starts with a review of the system, documentation, dependencies and current priorities. Knowledge transfer, a prioritised maintenance backlog and regular service reviews help connect ongoing support with future improvements. The BETALEN AI rebrand represents a broader capability offering, not a move away from application development or production support.
How we think
Every delivery ships with a quality report: sampled audit accuracy, inter-annotator agreement and a breakdown of rejected records. If a batch misses the agreed threshold, we rework it at our cost.
Isolated project environments, NDAs for every worker, no cross-client reuse and no model training on client data. On request we work entirely inside your VPC or secure facility.
Our annotators are salaried employees, not piece-rate gig workers. Fair pay lowers turnover, and low turnover is the single strongest predictor of label quality over time.

Durga Prasad Baghuthu founded BETALEN AI inside Betalen Technology India Pvt Ltd in January 2021 with a simple intention: make high-quality, ethically sourced training data accessible to every AI team, not just the handful of labs that can afford in-house data factories. With 20+ years of industry experience spanning enterprise software architecture, full-stack .NET engineering, DevOps and cloud platforms, he has shipped mission-critical systems for banking, healthcare, retail and manufacturing clients across the globe.
He leads the company's research agenda personally — from annotation quality science and RLHF pipelines to agentic automation and enterprise AI adoption — and stays hands-on in architecture reviews with client engineering teams.
